I may get burned by this but oh well. The best thing about the movie by far was its' score. (its' soundtrack) I loved the movie. I've watched it a couple times since I saw it in the theatre, but I've listened to the album several times more than that since. If the game can bring the same feeling as the movie, then it will be awesome, otherwise it will be just another film - game adaptation = crap.
Freezing people with the plasma rifle was not a bug, it was an effect of the weapon. I really wish they would bring that back actually.

It explains in the books that a spartan's suit sights the guns for them by aligning the expected target to the reticle in the spartan's helmet's HUD. Therefore "ironsights" are completely unnecessary.

Getting a stick with the plasma grenades in Halo has been far more gratifying than a head shot with a sniper rifle. That little half second before the guy blows up is just the right amount of time to enjoy watching him realize what's just happened.
I'm guessing that less than 100 people worldwide who pirate this game don't buy the original. Xbox Live MULTIPLAYER, that's why!
Except for spoilers, this is a good thing for the game and its' sales.
